Our clients asked for a family entertainment space that made the most of the slope and sunny areas.

Creating terraces including a dramatic curved slate wall overcomes the steep slope and allows pockets of space to be created each with a different role. Each space becomes a sun trap at different points of the day, while feature lighting created drama at night. Working with existing mature plants and enlivening with new feature plants the visual impact of the space was enhanced, and overall, the garden was embedded into the surrounding woodland.
