Biddenham
“Creating miniature pockets of interest”

The clients brief was to create a low maintenance contemporary outdoor space, for relaxation and dining which created a stronger link between the house and their garden.

Working alongside Designer Mark Langford we combined low maintenance planting with contrasting straight lines to provide visual interest all year round. Interspersed among the slate walkways the grid pattern of gravel, paved sections and planting link the spaces together which break up the original blank canvas and make for a more visually intimate space.

'We included planting within the terrace space to provide visual interest, this was particularly important for the client when viewing the garden from the kitchen and dining rooms.' Mark Langford
